Meet the team.

Alexandra Jannetto

Director and Principal

Alexandra is an enthusiastic and dedicated lawyer who has over 15 years of experience working in immigration and refugee law in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.  She has worked in private practice, in non-governmental organisations and legal aid commissions.  As well as practising as a lawyer, she has held various senior management, policy and project roles.  She has extensive networks worldwide and has helped countless individuals and families get their visas.

Born in Tucson, Arizona, she moved with her family to New Zealand in 1995 and became a New Zealand citizen in 1999.  After many years overseas, she is now based in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Alexandra started The Visa Shop in response to the increasing need for more accessible and affordable immigration legal services and her belief that New Zealanders living in Australia should obtain permanent residency and citizenship if they are eligible so they have the most protection available to them, especially in the new Covid-19 era.

After years of specialising in immigration law, Alexandra is still passionate about what she does and loves working with people from all around the world.
